Vero - Don't believe the hype...

We jumped on the viral bandwagon of Vero with good reason. Advert free, paid subscription, and a true timeline. Their marketing pitch video and website had as frothing at the mouth. We jumped on, connected with loads of awesome people and enjoyed it.

Then came the surge. With the app going viral Vero couldn't cope and the app repeatedly crashed. Poor planning on their part.

Then the truth surfaced about the company owner with a pretty poor track history in kindness. We're a sticker for ethics here. So we left.

So what does this mean? That this model is dead? Not at all. Someone with ethics and a better eye for UI could easily launch the 'true' version of Vero. Anyone want to invest? ;-)

Here's a cracing article from down under about it all
